START OVER
When you've trusted God and walked his way
When you've felt his hand lead you day by day
But your steps now take you another way ...
Start over.
When you've made your plans, and they've gone awry
When you've tried your best, and there's no more try
When you've failed yourself, and you don't know why ...
Start over.
When you've told your friends what you plan to do
When you've trusted them, and they didn't come through
And you're all alone, and it's up to you ...
Start over.
When you've failed your kids, and they've grown and gone
When you've done your best, but it's turned out wrong
And now your grandchildren come along ...
Start over.
When you've prayed to God so you'll know his will
When you've prayed and prayed, and you don't know still ...
When you want to stop cause you've had your fill ...
Start over.
When you think you're finished and want to quit
When you've bottomed out in life's deepest pit
When you've tried and tried to get out of it ...
Start over.
When the year has been long and successes few
When December comes, and you're feeling blue
God gives a January just for you ...
Start over.
Starting over means "Victories Won."
Starting over means "A Race Well Run."
Starting over means "God's Will Done."
Don't just sit there ..............
START OVER
by Woodrow Kroll of "Back to the Bible."
I love this and wanted to share it with you today.
Throughout Scripture, God talks to us about how to approach seasons of starting over. Regardless of your situation, I have some of the best motivational Bible verses about starting over (all in KJV).
Galatians 2:20" I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
1 Peter 2:1-3 "1Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious."
Isaiah 40:30-31 "30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint."
Proverbs 3:5-6 "5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
2 Corinthians 5:17" Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Ezekiel 11:19-20 "19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: 20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God."
I hope verses remind you of God's ability to "make all things new." He is not finished using you for His glory. God sees all time from beginning to end, and He tells us the same thing He told Israel back then:
Isaiah 43:18-19 "18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."
Let's end this year with a thankful heart and start the new year with peace and faith. When you think about the year ending, if you find that your faith has grown, you are on the right track. Do not stop doing good deeds, and God will bless you abundantly in 2021!
